Especially when his train will be reaching Jhinjhak station in Kanpur Dehat. His native village is Paraunkh at some distance from here. This whole area remains etched in his memories. It will prove to be safe and also strengthens the trust. President Ram Nath Kovind is on a visit to Kanpur. This journey of Presidential Train has become very special in itself. The President reached Kanpur Central Station from Delhi’s Safdarganj station at around eight o’clock in the night. During this, the Presidential train had two stops at Jhinjhak and Rura stations. A special train was run for the President from Delhi to his home district. This step is a big morale booster for the railway workers who have rendered their services diligently in the time of pandemic. This has instilled confidence in the people by encouraging them to use trains for travel in different parts of the country for business, tourism and other purposes.

General Manager NCR V.K. Tripathi welcomed President Ram Nath Kovind when the Presidential train reached Jhinjhak station. After this the train reached Rura station. After a brief stay at Rura, the President left for Kanpur. The Presidential train reached Kanpur Central station at hrs where Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with ministers, MPs and MLAs welcomed them along with senior railway and state government officials. Sunit Sharma, CEO and CRB Railway Board accompanied the President during his train journey. After reaching Kanpur Central, the President left for his further program. Reminiscing his childhood, he said, Jhinjhak used to sit on these chairs of the station and wait for the train. He remembers every moment here. After Khanpur, he went to Kanpur and then to Delhi for higher education. Said, Rajya Sabha from Delhi and then through Raj Bhavan in Bihar to reach Rashtrapati Bhavan. Kanpur countryside is the only contribution to reach here. He said that he also had a close attachment with Rura, when he came here, he got the affection and love of the people. When Kovind greeted the people, the public sitting on the chairs stood up and applauded. In his address, the President said that his wish was to visit the entire Kanpur countryside. The wish came true upon arrival by train. The Rasulabad assembly was held after the hesitation stopped. From Rura to Akbarpur-Raniyan Vidhan Sabha was visible. Paraunkh and Pukhrayan will go from where Sikandra and Bhognipur Vidhan Sabha will also be visited. It is a matter of satisfaction that the entire Kanpur countryside has been visited.
